Today I am bringing you some tips that I hope you find helpful.

TIPS:

1)  There is nothing worse than being stuck with a pin as you empty a trash can!  The remedy?  Save an empty a kitchen spice bottle or a prescription pill bottle for your old sewing machine needles and bent pins.  It takes a long time to fill one bottle!  Label it as “sharps” so you remember what is in the bottle.

2)  Compressed Air in a can is a great surface cleaner but don’t blow inside the casing of your sewing machine.  It compacts dust and fuzz and can cause damage to the inside of the machine.

3)  Use any brand of hooks with adhesive (like Command Hooks) and attach to your machine to hold your snips/scissors.

4)  Don’t be afraid to discard old thread.  It becomes brittle and tends to break so just…. let it go!

Have a great day, friends!
