Drum roll, please, Introducing: Is it Tried and True? Annie McHugs Has Tested IT for You!
I know, I know, you are thinking what is she up to now? Well, It’s like this… I’ve become a skeptic. There is a “truth in advertising” ideal that reputable companies adhere to but, darn it, I have been duped. Once, my girlfriend, Melissa and I read about this rice and tomatoes diet and we tried it. 7 pounds (in the wrong direction) later we decided it didn’t work. Or the “lose weight fast eating oatmeal cookies diet” resulted in 7 more pounds up the scale. (On a side note: I just call the every 10 pounds an octave and I’m several octaves higher now that I’m a grandmother.) Anyhoo— I’m too old to believe the hype in commercials or campaigns.
So, when my quilting friend, June, told me she glues her bindings down I was skeptical. But she’s my friend and I trust her. So, I wanted to know more. Like: How? So she told me…and I tried it…and it worked gloriously! I’ll never do another binding without gluing it down. First, you must know this: I machine bind all of my bindings (and I really do mean all) but the good news is that regardless of how you do your bindings this technique really works!
My process:
I love the results. I love how easy it is…and this Binding technique Is Tried and True. Annie McHugs Has Tested IT for You – and it works! So, thank you very much, June! You are a good friend!
When you try it, let me know how it goes!
Have a blessed day, friends.
Annie
Love this!
THank you! I love it, too!
