It’s spring time! Wait…what happened to winter? The day before yesterday it was fall! I have a new resolution. My resolution is to write at least one short update daily…well, maybe 3 times a week. Today I’ll start with some of my newest completions. Kane’s preschool had a fundraiser in March… so, of course, I made a quilt for him!
2. Lorelai’s preschool has a fundraiser this month…so, of course she get’s one, too!
3. Refuge for Women, an aftercare christian ministry for trafficked and sexually exploited women in the north Texas area has a fund raiser in April… so here is their story quilt. My design is: The women are trapped in a dark box. As they escape, the bluebirds help them find shelter (nests) while they get their true colors back. http://www.refugeforwomen.org/
4. Constituting America is a non-profit helping to teach young adults about the Constitution. Their auctions happen 3 times a year! http://www.constitutingamerica.org/
