I’m an EQ7 Fan

I am an EQ7 fan.  I can hear you saying “huh?”

EQ7 is a software program called Electric Quilt that I use daily.  Really…every single day.  I’ve only had 6 months and I’ve created more than 200 quilt designs.  Yes!  200!  I’ve not made 200…but have designed 200.  Why?  Because when I make a $$$ software purchase I commit to learn it.  What better way to learn it than use it daily?  To keep me going I joined a Facebook group called Quilt Design A Day and we design a quilt daily based on an inspiration photo and a color palette.  I’ve made multiple custom quilts and design them using EQ7.

Recently Electric Quilt posted a challenge.  Make a scrappy quilt using one of their 3 designated patterns.  So, I did.  It’s 20 inches by 20 inches.

    Thank you for sharing the FB group. My EQ just arrived last week…..and I feel exactly the same way as you! My top is posted as well. LOVE your use of color & quilting!

        YES! I do love EQ7. I use it every day….and feel deprived when I have to miss a day. I always make up for it!
